The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time 7920V/210A-B334 represents the latest generation of one of the most complete travel watches in Vacheron Constantin’s sports-luxury Overseas collection. Introduced in 2024 as the successor to the long-running 7900V series, this reference refines a genuinely practical GMT complication within the Overseas line’s distinctive rounded hexagonal case shape, first introduced in 1996 and now in its third generation of design.
The 41mm stainless steel case combines polished and satin-finished surfaces, with a bezel that subtly reveals Vacheron Constantin’s Maltese cross emblem in its detailing. The striking sunburst blue dial is fitted with a central second-time-zone hand, designed to be discreetly hidden beneath the local-time hour hand when not travelling, alongside a day/night indicator and a dedicated pointer-date display — solving a common frustration with traditional GMT watches, where setting the local time independently of the date and GMT hand can require awkward crown gymnastics. A separate pusher allows the date to be quickly adjusted without disturbing the time-setting functions.
Powering the watch is Vacheron Constantin’s in-house automatic movement, fitted with an oscillating weight in 22-carat gold styled after a compass wind rose, a nod to the model’s travel-focused character. The movement delivers an approximate 60-hour power reserve, and the case is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and sapphire exhibition case back, along with 150 metres of water resistance — genuinely robust for a dress-leaning sports watch.
The watch is fitted to a stainless steel bracelet with Vacheron Constantin’s quick-release strap system, and is typically supplied with additional leather and rubber straps, allowing the same case to move between formal, casual, and active settings without tools.
Combining genuine travel functionality with Vacheron Constantin’s manufacture pedigree, the Overseas Dual Time 7920V/210A-B334 stands as one of the most usable and versatile watches in the brand’s current catalogue.
