The bezel’s 60-minute graduated scale, with numerals and markings coated in platinum, allows a diver to track elapsed time and decompression stops at a glance, while a luminescent capsule on the zero marker keeps it legible in total darkness. Inside is the Rolex Calibre 3235, a Manufacture movement built with the efficient Chronergy escapement, a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers. It offers an approximate 70-hour power reserve and is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, meaning it’s been tested to a standard of -2/+2 seconds per day accuracy after casing, on top of official COSC chronometer certification. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and screw-down Triplock crown help the case achieve 300 metres of water resistance.

The watch is fitted to Rolex’s three-piece solid-link Oyster bracelet, finished with brushed centre links and polished sides, and secured with the Oysterlock safety clasp and Glidelock extension system for tool-free micro-adjustments in 2mm increments — practical for fitting over a wetsuit or simply fine-tuning fit through the day.
