The Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Black Magic 525.CM.0170.RX is a bold, all-black expression of Hublot’s “Art of Fusion” philosophy, built entirely from high-tech black ceramic and finished with an open-worked skeleton dial that puts the movement itself on display. The name “Aerofusion” refers to this transparency, blending the technical and the visual in one 45mm case.

The case is finished in a combination of polished and satin-finished black ceramic, paired with a vertically satin-finished ceramic bezel secured by six distinctive H-shaped titanium screws — one of the most recognisable design cues across Hublot’s Classic Fusion line. A sapphire crystal dial sits at the centre of the watch, revealing the chronograph movement’s bridges, gears, and rotor in full view, framed by applied index hour markers and rhodium-plated hands for legibility against the openworked backdrop. The layout includes a small seconds sub-dial and 30-minute chronograph counter, along with a date display.

Powering the watch is Hublot’s in-house HUB1155 self-winding skeleton chronograph movement, offering an approximate 48-hour power reserve. Housed behind a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both the front and the exhibition case back, the movement is visible from either side of the watch. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, positioning this piece as a design-forward everyday watch rather than a dedicated tool watch.

The watch is fitted to a black lined rubber strap, secured with a black PVD-coated stainless steel deployant buckle, keeping the all-black aesthetic consistent from case to clasp.
