The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 126515LN is a modern expression of one of the most coveted chronographs in the world, cased entirely in Rolex’s proprietary 18ct Everose gold and paired with a rich chocolate brown dial. At 40mm, the Oyster case is fitted with a monobloc Cerachrom bezel in black ceramic, moulded with a tachymetric scale for calculating average speeds — a nod to the model’s racing origins, and a genuinely functional feature for anyone timing an event. The bezel’s engraved markings are filled via a platinum PVD process for lasting legibility, and the ceramic construction resists scratching, corrosion, and fading from UV exposure.

The chocolate dial is contrasted by black snailed counters at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, tracking 30 minutes, running seconds, and 12 hours respectively. Applied 18ct gold hour markers and hands, finished with Chromalight luminescence, keep the dial legible in low light without disrupting its warm, refined tone.

Powering the watch is the in-house Rolex Calibre 4131, a self-winding chronograph movement built with the efficient Chronergy escapement and offering an approximate 72-hour power reserve. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, and the case is water-resistant to 100 metres via a screw-down, Triplock-sealed crown.

Completing the watch is Rolex’s patented Oysterflex bracelet — two flexible metal blades overmoulded in high-performance black elastomer, combining the durability of a metal bracelet with the comfort of rubber. It’s secured with an 18ct Everose gold Oysterlock safety clasp and the Rolex Glidelock extension system for fine-tuned sizing on the wrist.
